ASUS complete its catalog with the release of the ASUS VivoBook S500, the largest model in its new series VivoBook prepared for the launch of Windows 8 and touch technology as the protagonist.
This VivoBook is new series of laptops with design and components as Ultrabook series comprising the S200, S400 and S500 with screen sizes of 11.6, 14 and 15.6 inches respectively.

The ASUS VivoBook S500 touchscreen laptop uses third generation processors Intel Ivy Bridge Core. The models of this laptop has a Core i5 3317U although, ASUS offers the option of a top model Core i7 and Core i3 others and Celeron.
In all cases accompanied by 4 GB of DDR3 memory and storage solutions hybrid hard disks as primary storage and solid state drives as a cache to increase performance. All models use the integrated graphics of Intel HD 4000.
The ASUS VivoBook S500 is the largest of the series, with a multi-touch screen, in the production standard of 15.6 inches. Despite its size, its weight is just over two kilograms thanks to its design and aluminium chassis.
