As it had been rumored, Canon has officially launched its first mirroless camera to compete with Nikon, with Canon EOS M that offers a quality Digital SLR in a compact camera with interchangeable lenses.
The Canon EOS M is a compact camera system (CSC) with no optical viewfinder and interchangeable lenses allowing manufacture a lightweight model that can be carried anywhere, which is particularly appreciated in the country of origin of Canon, Japan, compact cameras account for about one third of all models of interchangeable lenses.

As for the video mode, Canon EOS M supports recording 1080p video (30p/24p) or 720p video (60p) with ISO range of 100 to 6400 and extended 12400. The EOS M includes the Movie M Servo AF, allowing continuous autofocus while recording, improvements to the Video Snapshot mode (Video Snapshot) and record short videos of 2, 4 or 8 seconds long, with the possibility of editing and recording together as a presentation of videos into one file.
In addition to the versatility that is the interchangeable lenses with EF and EF-S compatible with the EF mount adapter M-EOS, Canon EOS M presented to the other two goals 18-55 mm f/3.5-5.6 IS and a pancake 22 mm f / 2.
Price and Release date of Canon EOS M:
Canon expects to produce 100,000 units monthly EOS M to availability from September. Canon will offer the camera in four color finishes, white, black, silver and red. Its price will be around 850 euros in a basic kit with the objective 18-55, 1050 with the pancake, while the adapter mount EOS EF-M is available on the 200 Euros. It was all regarding the upcoming mirror less camera that is Canon EOS M.
