D-Link began shipping Cloud Router 5700 with support for Wi-Fi 802.11ac

Company D-Link has expanded the range of network solutions through the issuance of a new model of router i.e. Cloud Router 5700 (DIR-865L), which provides high speed data transmission.

Introduced new product offers support for wireless communication standard Wi-Fi 802.11ac. Recall that the theoretical maximum data transfer rate of the standard is 1.3 Gb / s. However, a router D-Link Cloud Router 5700 , according to the manufacturer, is able to achieve even higher data transfer rate – 1.75 GB / s. Additional 450 MB / s provided by the simultaneous operation of the device in two modes, Wi-Fi 802.11ac and Wi-Fi 802.11n. This model is equipped with a port for connecting the Internet signal, four Gigabit Ethernet network ports for connecting computers on the LAN port and one USB. With the USB port the user is able to arrange shared access to data stored on external storage devices for all computer and mobile devices (via mobile application SharePort) within the local network. Users also have the option of using the application i.e. Cloud App, which allows remote management and control of the local network. The device has IPv6 and security features SPI and WPA/WPA2.
