AVG Technologies released version 2013 of its antivirus. The free version protects your computer, email mail, your identity and your research on the Web by analyzing the hyperlinks that would refer to questionable sites.

The novelty Free AVG Antivirus 2013 of this edition is a complete overhaul of the interface that draws heavily on that of Windows 8 with large colorful icons like Metro / Modern UI. AVG is fully compatible with the new operating system from Microsoft, as well as previous versions (XP and Windows 7).

Another innovation is the improvement of the speed of virus scan hard disk. AVG says its scanning engine is 36% faster than the 2012 version.
