HTC One X + with Jelly Bean, on the way now: Specs & Features

There is a good news for HTC fans because now HTC has confirmed officially another flagship Android smartphone i.e. HTC One X +. The device has kept its name and many of the characteristics predecessor, though, and got a number of new features. This initiative reminds Taiwanese history with Sensation XE, which was also made in black and red body.

HTC One X +

The main difference of HTC One X + is its SoC Tegra 3 AP37 with four processing units operating at a frequency of 1.7 GHz. In addition, up to 64 GB increased maximum amount of internal flash memory and increased battery capacity from 1800 to 2100 mAh. Slightly changed and the front camera, having a 1.6-megapixel sensor instead of 1.3 megapixels. Little difference, but it will use the chip ImageSense with this unit. Previously One X is collaborated with only an 8-megapixel rear camera and same with HTC One X +. It is, incidentally, remained unchanged: BSI-sensor, LED flash, fast lens with an aperture of f/2.0.

The amount of memory also remains unchanged – 1 GB, strange that HTC decided not to extend it, especially given the already 2 GB in Samsung Galaxy Note II and LG Optimus Vu II. Moreover it comes with 4.7-inch HD-display Super LCD2 which is also not been modified, but it was not necessary – the screen is one of the best on the market.

HTC One X + will be available in early October, with the OS Android 4.1 Jelly Bean on board, complemented by proprietary shell HTC Sense 4 +. It is not much different from its predecessor, but adapted to the new OS and Google Project Butter, plus contains a number of pleasant things, such as auto-start the camera application, if your smartphone has entered standby mode with the program active. Shortly after the release of HTC One X + manufacturer will release a software update on the basis of Jelly Bean and Sense 4 + and for its other smartphones.

The price of this HTC One X + phone is not yet reported so stay tuned for more updates.
