Intel denies that its CEO thinks that Windows 8 is not ready

Intel has described as “baseless news” information from Bloomberg about the alleged comments of their CEO, Paul Otellini, made in an internal meeting in Taiwan and in recounting ‘Windows 8 errors and need further development before to market’.

Microsoft Windows 8

“Intel has a long and successful partnership with Microsoft to launch Windows platforms and devices, which offer exciting experiences, outstanding performance and superior compatibility. Intel is confident that this will continue with Windows 8”, explained from Intel in a statement.

“Intel, Microsoft and our partners have been working closely together in testing and validation to ensure delivery of a high quality experience through the 200 Intel-based designs that will begin shipping in October”, indicated.

The statement goes on to recall the phrase Otellini in holding that “Windows 8 is one of the best things that ever happened to Intel”, in relation to the possibilities of touch support and other features for electronic tablets or ultrabooks.

Recall that before Bloomberg release the rumor, Microsoft would have ensured that: “with over 16 million active participants in the previous tests, Windows 8 will be the operating system tested, reviewed and ready in Microsoft history”. So, what we can say now that the earlier published article regarding incomplete Windows 8 could be wrong now.
