Lenovo IdeaCentre A720 an all-in-one Computer: Review and Specs

The IdeaCentre A720 is among the new products announced by Lenovo at the Medpi which was held in Monaco in June 2012. This is one of the latest All-in-one PC of 27 inches which is attracting everyone with its design and specs.

A 27-inch chassis and two rates

IdeaCentre A720

IdeaCentre A720 will be sold in two versions, rather upscale. The first, is priced at 1499 euros, will carry an Intel Core i5-3210M (2.5 GHz), 4GB of RAM (DDR3), an Nvidia GeForce GT630M (2 GB), DVD burner and a disc 750 GB HDD and the other model, priced at 1800 euros, will carry a more powerful processor (Intel Core i7-3610QM 2.3 GHz), double the RAM (8 GB), the same graphics card, a disk 1 TB hard drive and a Blu-ray.

It is important to note that the PC all-in-one will ship components from the world of laptops. Lenovo says that these are models operating at 5400 rev / min, which would imply a lack of responsiveness. In market there exits few HDD which has better operating rate and now standard has reach to 7200 rev / min.

Connectivity Specs and HD tuner

Both the versions of IdeaCentre A720 enjoy some advantages in common. Starting with the 27-inch display and touchscreen display and a Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels), the other connectivity specs is complete, with four USB ports (two USB 3.0), a memory card reader and, more importantly, HDMI inputs and outputs.

It is thus possible to connect a second display to extend the display, but also you can use IdeaCentre A720 as a TV, moreover you can plug a console to it. Both versions of the A720 include a HD tuner as well as Bluetooth and Wi-Fi (802.11n).
