Microsoft offers beta of Windows Server 2012 Essentials

Microsoft has released a beta version of Windows Server 2012 Essentials, editing cheapest and easiest to use of the four offered by the software giant in the new generation of operating systems for servers and workstations.

Windows Server 2012 Essentials would be the correspondence to Windows Small Business Server Essentials and as such, is aimed at supporting small businesses up to 25 user accounts without virtualization services and pre-configured to access cloud-based services.

Windows Server 2012 Essentials is ideal for use in entry-servers, allowing small businesses to protect, centralize, organize and access their applications and information from almost anywhere using virtually any device.

Essentials has been designed with simplicity and ease of use. Also with flexibility in mind as this issue can be converted to version ‘Standard’ if business needs change over time.

Windows Server 2012 will be the biggest launch of a company server, not only by advances in storage, networking and virtualization, but because of the change of identity ‘which aims to impart Microsoft as ‘cloud operating system’.

The final version of Windows Server 2012 Essentials would be available this fall after the release of Windows client system 8. Earlier this month, would be available to OEMs RTM.
