MSI is prepared to release two new notebook models CX61 and CR61, targeted at multimedia applications.

Both new items MSI CX61 and CR61 presented are based on a hardware platform Intel, contains motherboard based on chipset Intel HM76 and the i3 Core of the third generation. The devices use a 15.6-inch display with a resolution of 1366×768 pixels. Also, both the laptop contains up to 8 GB of memory standard, DDR3 1333 MHz, hard disk capacity of 500 or 640 GB, Optical drive DVD. The models differ only in the graphics subsystem: MSI CR61 used in the integrated graphics core in the processor, and CX61 – discrete graphics card NVIDIA GeForce GT 630M with 2 GB of RAM or GeForce GT 640M with 2 GB of memory.

In addition, new laptops MSI CX61 and CX61 are equipped with card reader 5-in-1, WLAN Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, HD webcam, single-port USB 2.0, two ports USB 3.0, HDMI and video outputs D-Sub, Gigabit LAN port Ethernet, two speakers rated at 2 watts with support for SRS, audio jacks for headphones and microphone, 6-cell battery. However, its weight is around- 2.4 kg. The operating system used in these devices is Windows 7 Home Premium.

Information on the timing of the start of sales and the value of the suggested retail price of new multimedia laptop MSI CX61 and CR61 is not yet reported.
