Could NEC LaVie X 15.6 be World’s Thinnest Ultrabook?

NEC announced that LaVie X 15.6” would have a screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 with an IPS display – this could be World’s thinnest Ultrabook.

The Japanese are at it again. Pushing the technical design boundaries which were previously unthinkable.

It will have a powerful Core i7-3517U CPU processor. This processor ticks at 1.9 GHz and has a 4 GB RAM. However, its selling point (and talking point) is the slim design – 12.8mm package!
