Nokia is seriously updated the software for a single MeeGo-N9 smartphone

Announced last year smartphone Nokia N9, which is the only official apparatus of the Finnish-based OS MeeGo, did not become very popular because of the limited edition products and it was failure to further develop the platform. Nevertheless, the company introduced an updated version of the software, called MeeGo PR1.3 update.

For example, there is support for video calls, Google Talk, the ability to easily organize folders by moving one icon to another, improved application “Camera” (continuous shooting) and update the navigation software as well.

According to MeeGo PR1.3 update You can also upload photos, videos and documents to the Dropbox built-in OS, Twitter and Facebook notifications are now available on-screen events, improved web surfing history, there is support for MS Office documents 2010 and DLNA, redesigned e-mail client (message threads) and the function copy / paste for documents and Web pages. There are a number of other upgrades and innovations, which Nokia does not apply. Improved OS stability, improved quality of video decoding, corrects problems with the NFC, increased volume, etc.

Now this Update is available and its size is around 203 MB. Moreover, Nokia has planed to distribute MeeGo PR1.3 update it around the world in the coming weeks.
