Razer Invicta, Razer Manticor, Razer Destructor 2 & Razer Megasoma 2 Gaming Mats: Features & Prices

The company Razer has updated its line of gaming mats, announced just four products: Razer Invicta, Razer Manticor, Razer Destructor 2 & Razer Megasoma 2. The most interesting in design and functionality first mat, still the flagship.

Razer Invicta consists of two parts: the basics of anodized aluminium, and two-way playing surface. The lower part of the base is rubberized and it clings to any smooth surface, plus a rather large mass enhancement (about 700 g) does not allow it to slide.

As for the playing surface, one side of Razer Invicta is adapted to move the cursor speed, the second – to improve the accuracy of its positioning. Dimensions of this accessory – 355 x 255 x 4.5 mm. Recommended price of Razer Invicta is $ 60 in the U.S. At present the company only accepts pre-orders for new product.

Razer Manticor has a small thickness of only 2.2 mm. By the size of the playing surface is the same as the flagship – 355 x 255 mm, weight – 373 g. Accessory is made of solid aluminium plate and coated with a special material with microtexture, providing greater speed cursor movement and excellent sliding arm. Razer Manticor cost is $ 50 U.S., the release is scheduled for the fourth quarter of this year.

Razer Destructor 2 in size similar to that described above gaming mouse mat (355 x 255 x 2.2 mm), but weighs less (166 g), because it is built on rubber base. If the playing surface Razor Manticor focused on high speed to move the cursor, the Destructor 2 is for those who require high accuracy positioning. It should be noted that the physical features of Razor Destructor 2 and merged into the flagship Manticor playing surface Razer. Novelty price – $ 40, will release its fourth-quarter 2012.

 

 

About Razer Megasoma 2 while little information. We only know that it is hard-soft hybrid playing surface that can be easily fold for transportation. Compared to its predecessor, the accessory has improved surface texture and an updated design.
