Samsung ATIV S with Windows Phone 8, Nokia should be worried: Specs & Features

At IFA 2012, Samsung has introduced the first smartphone Samsung ATIV S Windows Phone 8 confirms that Nokia will not be the absolute ruler of the new mobile operating system from Microsoft. In previous article we have mentioned the Samsung ATIV Tab now we can say, Samsung ATIV is going to be new series as Galaxy consists of almost Android devices and now may be Samsung wants to separate its Windows Smart devices into a new category and series called ATIV series.

The Samsung ATIV S is a high level model with an impressive panel touch screen with Super AMOLED HD 1280 x 720 pixels, Gorilla Glass 2 treatment and 4.8 inches diagonally, the greatest thing we’ve ever seen on Windows Mobile-Phone.

Its design is visible and is superb with a polished aluminium chassis to a thickness of 8.7 mm, only 0.1 mm larger than the Galaxy S III. Its processor is a 1.5 GHz dual core which is not specified but probably model it is a Qualcomm Snapdragon.

Samsung ATIV S will be featuring has 1 GB of RAM and will be offered with 16 and 32 Gbytes of storage capacity expandable with micro SD cards. Its cameras are 8 and 1.9 megapixels and 2300 mAh battery.
