Windows 8: Steve Ballmer confirms its release in October

Steve Ballmer, Microsoft CEO, said the public will discover the new version of Windows 8 in October.

On the occasion of the Worldwide Partner Conference being held in Toronto (Canada), the boss of Microsoft has confirmed that the RTM (Release to Manufacturing) the Windows 8 will be available for the month of October 2012. Hardware manufacturers will have the access from August to incorporate into their devices.

Windows 8 will be available in three versions: Windows 8 for the general public, Windows Pro for Windows power users and RT for devices running the ARM architecture. The update tariffs were not disclosed for the updates from PCs running Windows 7, Vista and XP that how much it will cost for upgrading to Windows 8. However, as Microsoft revealed this offer will run until early 2013. It was all about the update regarding Windows 8.
