ABBYY has developed a new application for iOS, ABBYY FineScanner, which allows you to scan and create electronic copies of images and text documents in PDF and JPEG.
As the developers say, ABBYY FineScanner can work with any type of information: images, diagrams, tables, text – both printed and handwritten. The application allows you to photograph documents, notes, articles, checks, slide presentations, improve the visual quality of the images and, if necessary, to create one multi-page documents.
Developed by the high quality image processing with the iPhone camera through new technology ABBYY Mobile Imaging SDK, which allows to improve the image. Among other things ABBYY FineScanner provides tools for handling Content: adjusting brightness and contrast, rotate images, transfer the image to black and white or shades of gray. Also, the program automatically determines the boundaries of the document. This feature is useful for applying the framework, trim the picture and ultimately a more comfortable viewing of the file before saving.
In addition, using the group are multi-page documents from scanned or downloaded files, JPEG, plus the necessary settings for a group of images in one click apply to all the other pictures, too. The second option – is to create an electronic multi-document PDF.
In order not to overload the device image gallery, photos can be stored in the application itself, but each file – the original name and assign a label (tag) for the subsequent search for him.
Opportunities to share content on ABBYY FineScanner very broad. So, you can send files by e-mail or print them directly from the program with the help of Apple AirPrint protocol in the presence of a number of compatible printers. Of course, supported and popular cloud services like Google Docs, Dropbox and Evernote, as well as social networks, for example, Facebook.
