One factor of purchase I believe are most important to the buyer of Ultrabooks is, beyond the benefits from the technological point of view, the design. And here we are with a review of an ultrabook of Fujitsu which is designed perfectly almost impressively; here we are talking about Fujitsu LifeBook U772.

The external appearance of this Fujitsu LifeBook U772 is really elegant with meticulous care by the external details, perfectly finished with rounded edges, a studied contrast colors silver and black color of the interior, the design of the vents, thickness of only 16mm.

It is so thin that, it has not even been able to use a standard RJ45 network connector to connect it to a wired network adapter which is supplied.
The material polished exterior has a very nice touch. The assembly cannot be defined with other term than perfect without any games or crunches suspects. The design of the lid in Fujitsu LifeBook U772 even been studied for opening the device easier, even with one hand. Even the Fujitsu logo engraved on top transmits an attention to detail much appreciated.
Inside the brushed aluminium material in black, made in one piece, also sports a spectacular design and combines perfectly with the outer material. It has been especially careful ergonomics of the keyboard layout and other smaller details such as the material power button and even closing hinge that conveys not only robust but also elegant.
On the screen surprisingly Fujitsu engineers have managed to incorporate a 14-inch screen size when other manufacturers are able to offer only 13 inches. The attention to detail is not limited only to the “front”. The magnesium alloy chassis provides great strength while keeping the weight of equipment among the lightest in its class.
In point of connectivity this Fujitsu LifeBook U772 is very complete. It has two USB 3.0 slots (one powering devices even with the computer turned off) and a USB 2.0, network connection through tailored, HDMI, audio in and out, memory card slot and SD slot SIM that allows using the integrated 3G modem. Unless the relative discomfort of having to use an adapter for Ethernet connection, everything has worked perfectly.

Fujitsu LifeBook U772 Ultrabook
Once praised the facade, which is spectacular, we move into the use of the laptop, and not all good news. To start the keyboard layout is good, but the key travel is quite short so you often do not know if you really have to touch down or not. Neither has added the ability to backlight which we have praised in other business notebooks.
In turn, the screen, Fujitsu LifeBook U772 looks spectacular and the resolution remains in a disappointing 1366 × 768 dots, typical of smaller computers. The image quality is average, get sufficient quality color and contrast, but the brightness (especially in bright light) is somewhat low, perhaps to get a good autonomy.
On the other hand the performance of the CPU is more than respectable. The processor Ivy Bridge and the SSD makes the system behave just remarkable in Fujitsu LifeBook U772 ultrabook. Of course the trust an integrated video processor used in 3D games is limited to less demanding titles, but for the use of office tools, even complex, web surfing or benefits are very good. On the other hand has done a great job in cooling and noise.
The fans do a good job and very quiet, which is appreciated in other situations forestay as meetings or simply to make it more comfortable if you spend much time working with it.

Another of the great strengths of the Fujitsu LifeBook U772 ultrabook is that of autonomy, and here too we see the hand of German engineers. In situations of low consumption (Eco button found in the equipment itself) the laptop is able to overcome the nine and half hours of autonomy above the barrier (theoretical) eight-hour workday. In normal working conditions, with wireless connectivity it works for six hours.

In short we can say that the Fujitsu LifeBook U772 ultrabook definitely enters the eye. From is a sleek portable, sturdy and well designed which obviously have primacy of the most professional and sacrificed sometimes others, like the brightness of the display or audio. In terms of performance and autonomy are among the first. This was all about one the best available and beautifully designed ultrabook i.e. Fujitsu LifeBook U772.
