HTC Windows 8 Smartphones: HTC Zenith, HTC Accord and HTC Rio

HTC is one of the most important partners of Microsoft after Nokia, at least in the field of smart phones. This HTC Taiwanese Company is preparing just three phones based on Windows Phone 8.

HTC’s new strategy is very similar to its recent actions in the market of Android-smartphone. It plans to release a flagship Zenith, pretty close to it the characteristics of the Accord and the baseline model, Rio. It is easy to draw a parallel with a line of HTC RiO.

Let’s start with the youngest models, with Rio. According to The Verge, the apparatus is equipped with a 4-inch display with a resolution of 480×800 pixels, 5 megapixel camera, a cellular module that supports HSPA 14,4 Mbit / s, 512 MB of RAM and a very good processor Qualcomm MSM8227 family of Snapdragon S4 Plus .

Model Accord differs, it is slightly more powerful with dual-core processor of the same series, and it may be MSM8260A. In addition, the device is better in Display: with 4.3-inch Super LCD 2 with resolution of 720p. Other features are 1 GB of RAM, 8-megapixels camera with video recording resolution of 1080p, the module HSPA + (42 Mbit / s) and chip NFC.

The flagship of the Zenith is much like the Accord, and this is associated with HTC One X and One S. Display size slightly larger 4.7-inch, but the resolution is similar. The processor in the device is a quad-core model is still unknown. The rest is identical to the Zenith Accord. All three fall into the smartphone market this year: low-end models in October, the oldest – in the fourth quarter.
