True, iPad Mini needs only improvement in the display, as other flagship Apple products are carrying Retina display then why not new iPad Mini. To overcome this, Apple is secretly working on second version of Medium format tablet which would be called as iPad Mini 2 Retina Display tablet.
According to information, the iPad Mini 2 would have a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels, twice the original 1024 x 768 pixels and the same as the iPad 3 and 4 to ensure the smooth operation of the applications. The technology would come from the hand of Sharp IGZO and its launch is expected in autumn 2013.

The upcoming iPad Mini 2013 would be not only be different in display but also it will be carrying more optimized hardware which will promise better performance.
