The IdeaPad Y580 is part of the new range of Lenovo machines running Windows 8. This laptop equipped with a 15.6-inch screen size (39.6 cm diagonal), non-touch design and features a fairly standard format (38.5 x 25.5 x 3.6 cm for 2.8 kg). Note, however, particular attention focused on the keyboard, which enjoys a red backlight. It changes a little white backlit keyboards, but that this color is less tiring for the eyes at night.

With or without Blu-ray

The Lenovo IdeaPad Y580 is available in two versions, almost identical. Both are equipped with a powerful processor (Intel Core i7-3610QM) quad-core (2.3 GHz). RAM (6 GB) and storage capacity (1TB) should not be lacking. If both Y580 exploiting a Full HD panel only model marketed with € 999 features a Blu-ray player.
