Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga with Windows 8: Specs & Features

The new ultrabooks Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga based on Windows 8 are clearly prepared for this operating system, and do so by adopting a hybrid format because they can operate in either traditional laptop or tablet mode.

Lenovo will offer two versions of these ultrabooks. The first, Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 13 with 13-inch screen, resolution of 1600 × 900 pixels and supports multitouch, and the integration of an Intel Core i5 and 128 GB SSD storage. This model will use the full version of Windows 8.

The second edition of Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 11 will be characterized by an 11.6-inch display and 1366 × 768 pixel resolution on a multitouch panel and will also make use of an SSD of 64 GB, but the engine of this device will be a SoC NVIDIA Tegra 3. Another fundamental difference is the preinstalled Windows RT, which offer fewer features but software will double at the battery life.

The starting price of these models Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 13 and 11 will be $ 1,099 for the 13-inch model, which will be available on October 26 and $ 799 for the 11.6-inch version, which will come a little later, in December.
