LG’s 5-inch Optimus G Pro launched in Japan

LG Optimus G Pro was already welcomed in South Korea sometime back. Now LG has taken it to its eastern neighbour – Japan. warm reception after debuting, and now LG’s hoping to pull off a similar victory in Japan. People in Japan can take this smartphone from NTT DoCoMo at 81,270 Japanese Yen (~US$ 874) including taxes. It is also available from the operator with 14 month and 24 month contracts.

Although the name of the handset is same as in Korea, it  has a smaller 5-inch (5.5-inch display in Korea) (1920×1080 pixels) Full HD IPS display at 440 ppi screen with the same resolution.

For those who have not woken up to this great new phone yet, it runs Jelly Bean 4.1.2 on a 1.7GHz quad-core Snapdragon 600 Processor and 2GB of RAM. It comes with a good 3,000mAh battery, 13-megapixel rear camera  with BSI sensor and LED Flash , 2.1-megapixel front-facing camera. It has a 32GB of built-in memory and a microSD slot.
