Gamescom 2012 is bringing many surprises from gamers, Konami has released new video and more importantly, announced release schedule for the latest instalment in the Metal Gear series of stealth action.

After multiple delays, threats of cancellation, change of name and developer, Konami has finally established, the February 19, 2013 as the release date of Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance for PS3 and Xbox 360.

It will take control of Raiden, the protagonist of Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, where stealth and attack with swords will be featured under a key element in the game called zan-Datsu, “cut and take” in Japanese. This will allow us to acquire the dismembered bodies of the robots, life, energy, ammunition and even information.
