Samsung redesigned its Series 7 Chronos giving more attention towards performance. This will be an ultrabook to be made available in two different versions. Samsung has announced these versions before the CES (due next week) to get everyone’s attention. The versions will differ in processor, look and feel as well as the storage capacity. The variation will be either Core i5 processor or Core i7 processor, 128GB or 256 GB storage and with touchscreen or without touchscreen.
Samsung Series 7 Chronos will be the perfect laptops that will suite your needs and requirements as far as performance and design are concerned. It will have 16GB of RAM to boost the performance. The RAM accelerator technology will further enhance the performance of application by 150 percent, as claimed by Samsung. The Series 7 Chronos was refreshed by Samsung using AMD graphics. The display will be of 1080p giving great on screen resolution. As per Samsung, the 15-inch version would be refreshed with AMD’s new AMD Radeon HD 8870M GPU.
The makeover of these ultrabook will further reduce them in thickness. The new design will change the thickness from 082 inches as against 0.94 inches. It will have a backlight keyboard, JBL speakers and a 1GB AMD HD8570M GPU.
Other specifications unveiled are the connectors which include three USB ports, 1 HDMI, 1 Ethernet and a memory card reader. The backlight keyboard of Samsung Series 7 Chronos and good quality speakers will enhance the user experience. The battery life was a bit of concern in previous Samsung 7 series laptops. The new series will have battery life of 8 hours which will certainly going to be a plus point.
The price and availability is yet be announced by Samsung for these series of laptops, but one will have hands on and get to see these products at the CES happening next week.
