Toshiba has offered for sale through its Web Toshiba Direct, the two new laptops Tecra R 940 and Tecra R 950, especially for small and medium enterprises.

The new Toshiba Tecra R laptops have a new rigid chassis and cooling systems, with wide screens of 14 and 15.6 inches respectively for R940 and R950 models, LED-backlit HD resolution.

Inside highlight the various processing options that Toshiba offers the new series of Intel Ivy Bridge. RAM starts at 4 Gbytes (expandable to 16 GB) and as to have storage options of 320 GB hard drives or solid state drives up to 512 Gbytes.

Its connectivity is complete with Ethernet and Wi-Fi, VGA video output Display Port, USB 3.0 and 2.0 or eSATA. Supports Intel Wireless Display and security features with TPM data encryption, It also offers features for recovery in case of theft or fingerprint reader.

Toshiba Tecra R has two models on offer until August 31, 2012 for $ 599 in its base configuration. A promotion complete with a free upgrade to Windows 7 Professional and 4 GB of additional RAM. The Japanese company also offers models for these additional discounts on purchases over 100 units, a promotion usually reserved for large corporations.
