Acer Aspire M5 a little thicker and heavy for ultrabooks: Review & Specs

The Aspire M5 operates on low power platforms, versatile and tough. But these 15.6 inches machines have much more to do with thin and light machines designed by Intel.

Acer Aspire M5

Acer has two version of Acer Aspire M5 ultrabook. Acer sells two notebooks, the Aspire M5-581TG 53314G5Mass and M5-581TG-73516G52Mass. There are two machines in the format of 15.6-inch belongs to the family of ultrabooks from the manufacturer. But the giant Taiwanese is a bit the away from the concept of Intel.

This is not quite the case of new Acer Aspire M5. Their weight (2.3 kg) and dimensions (36.6 x 25.5 x 2.09 cm) are at the limit of the specifications imposed by Intel (including a maximum thickness of 2 cm). Hope that the promise of Acer in terms of autonomy, which was announced at 8 hours through low-energy components, is held.
