Adobe has just officially announced the publication of sources Adobe Sans Pro Source SIL Open Font Licensed License 1.1. This will allow modification and distribution of these sources as long as you keep the Adobe recognition among their original creators.
The released material consists of the source Source Sans Pro in 6 different thicknesses, from ExtraLight to Black. They can be downloaded from sourceforge.
