The company ASUS has recently expanded its line of computers EeeBox with models ASUS EeeBox EB1035 and EeeBox EB1505 with new Intel processors as well as Windows 8.

ASUS is still committed to the “small” of the house and its size, power consumption and noise emission content, allows use as a basic desktop (nettop) in consumer or business, or as a home media center.

Aesthetically, ASUS keeps the line of sobriety and elegance of the EeeBox, in two ASUS EeeBox EB1035 and EeeBox EB1505 models distinguished by the inclusion of an Intel processor dual-core Celeron 847 1.1 GHz. The biggest news is that these two nettops will come with the pre installated new system Microsoft Windows 8.

It can accommodate 2 to 4 Gbytes of RAM and hard drives of 320 or 500 Gbytes with hybrid drives with SSD 32 GB. The main difference of the two models is the inclusion of optical drive Super Multi DVD-RW or Blu-ray combo is the biggest difference between the models.

The connectivity is notable both for its size, with Gigabit Ethernet LAN and 802.11b/g/n WiFi, USB 3.0 and 2.0 ports, card reader 4-in-1, eSATA, Kensington security and video outputs VGA or HDMI.

ASUS has not indicated price or availability but should be in the channel before the start of the holiday season and ASUS EeeBox EB1035 and EeeBox EB1505 price should be quite content as the rest of the range of mini-PCs EeeBox.
