Canon Pixma iP7250 Wi-Fi photo Printer: Review & Specs

Canon Pixma iP7250 a photo printer that offers Wi-Fi n and duplexing, promising excellent performance. This printer model has a five-color printing system and a slew of options for wireless printing.

Canon announces the arrival in November 2012, three new inkjet printers including Canon Pixma iP7250 (€ 79), MG5450 (€ 129) and MG6350 (€ 179). They complement the range “photo” of the manufacturer. The iP7250 is printer while the basic and other models Pixma MG5450 and MG6350 are multifunction models (with scanner). Their two main commonalities are a print engine five or six cartridges and a system of automatic duplexing. The system should allow to get beautiful prints without wasting paper by printing text. They also incorporate an advanced energy saving and high capacity ink cartridges to reduce costs. According to Canon, the Pixma iP7250 endure speeds of the order of 15 pages per minute in black and 10 in color. These measurements are performed with documents to the standard ISO ESAT / IEC 24734, the reality should be approached closely, which is a good thing considering the small price of the printer.

All introduced printer including, Canon Pixma iP7250 have multi bonus of a high-resolution color CIS scanner to scan and copy documents up to A4. Note that only they have a flash memory card reader. None of the three machines has PictBridge USB port to print directly from a digital camera. However these printers have USB 2.0 connectivity and Wi-Fi, which allows them to network sharing and printing directly via the Internet from a computer, smartphone or tablet (both Apple iOS Android than anything). A multifunction like the two, the Canon Pixma iP7250 is accompanied by new software “Image My Garden”, which includes in particular an application called “Print Your Days” for easy printing and sending photos from Facebook.
