Cisco announced the Linksys EA6500 Router supports Wi-Fi 802.11ac

Cisco has prepared a new model of the router Linksys EA6500, which supports high-speed wireless standard Wi-Fi 802.11ac. Recall that the theoretical maximum data transfer rate of the standard is 1.3 Gb / s. However, the manufacturer has not yet specify a maximum transfer rate are wirelessly attainable router.

The announced device is a dual-band solution. It provides the opportunity to work in the frequency bands 2.4 and 5 GHz. In the new models port for connecting the Internet signal, four Gigabit LAN Ethernet ports for connecting computers on the LAN port and two USB are available.
