Crucial V4 SSD

Crucial is strong on price with its SSD Sata II. The Crucial V4 is less than 100 € for a capacity of 128 GB than 256 GB version offers maximum data rates of 230 MB / s read and 190MB / s write.

After the M4, Crucial launches Crucial V4 SSD Sata II. This 2.5-inch SSD at low cost is available in four capacities: 32 GB, 64 GB, 128 GB and 256 GB. It does not have a Sata interface III (6 Gb / s), but a Sata II interface (3 Gbit / s), resulting in lower flow rates. Thus, the 128 GB model according to the manufacturer reaches 230 MB / s read and 175 MB / s write. In comparison, a 128 GB SSD M4 has an interface Sata III offers theoretical speeds of 500 MB / s read and 175 MB / s write.

The fastest Crucial V4 SSD Sata II, with a capacity of 256 GB to 230 MB / s read and 190MB / s write, against 500 MB / s and 260 Mb / s for the M4. If the performance of the Crucial SSD seems modest, they remain well above those of a 2.5-inch hard drive, including the best models offer speeds of around 110 MB / s. Thus, you double your reading speed.
