Dell Company has introduced five new models of computer monitors: Dell S2740L, S2440L, S2340L, S2240L and S2240M. All of the new items are the representatives of the line in 2013 S Series and are featuring high quality color reproduction and wide viewing angles (up to 178 degrees vertically and horizontally) through the use of matrices IPS and VA.
The largest model is Dell S2740L has screen size of 27 inches and contains a matrix of IPS. It contains interfaces VGA, DVI and HDMI. Moreover another Monitor Dell S2440L device equipped with 24-inch matrix type VA and interfaces VGA and HDMI. 23-inch IPS Dell S2340L comprises a matrix and featuring VGA and HDMI. Another, Dell S2240L and Dell S2240M devices are based on a 21.5-inch matrix IPS. In the first case, the available interfaces are VGA and HDMI, and the second – VGA and DVI.
All of the new products support Full HD resolution (1920×1080 pixels) and equipped with LED lighting, which provides high contrast and low power consumption. The maximum brightness for all devices supplied is 250 cd/m2. For models based on a matrix IPS maximum static contrast ratio of 1000:1, and Response Time when switching between shades of gray – 7 ms. At the same time the device Dell S2440L with VA matrix provides maximum static contrast ratio of 5000:1 and a response time at 5ms.
New monitors Dell S2740L, S2440L, S2340L, S2240L and S2240M are available now in some regions for $ 400, $ 300, $ 250, $ 220 and $ 200, respectively.
