GIGABYTE TECHNOLOGY has just announced that its new series of motherboards with dual Thunderbolt connector supports monitors with a 4K resolution (up to 4096 × 3112 pixels). In the company’s facility in Tokyo has been tested using the standard mini DisplayPort.

Using the micro integrated graphics (Intel HD 4000) connected a monitor EIZO FDH3601 4K resolution and to take video signal, devised two Thunderbolt to Mini DisplayPort cable, capable of 2K resolution video each and GIGABYTE Dual Thunderbolt offers a final resolution pretty impressive.
