Gigabyte is preparing to launch a new laptop which describes as “mobile office” for the high performance that provides a wide screen 17.3 inch with native resolution of 1600 x 900 pixels. In this case we are talking about Gigabyte Q1700 laptop.
The Gigabyte Q1700 uses the second generation of the platform ‘arms’ of AMD which includes in its basic specification an APU with dual core processor 1.7 GHz and a Radeon 7340.
It has two slots for RAM to install 2, 4 or 8 Gbytes and storage options for hard drives up to 640 Gbytes.
Gigabyte Q1700 Includes Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b / g / n, 1.3 megapixel webcam, HDMI and VGA port, USB ports and card reader multiformat memory.
With pre-installed Windows 7 Gigabyte Q1700 goes one informal price around 500 euros. Appealing to the ‘mobile office’, but enough basic power for the sector to be targeted for basic office automation and entertainment, offering range of up to nine hours with six-cell battery and low power consumption of the APU chip it uses.
