Here is a scenario where you may want to remove “Sent Using Blackberry” from your signature.

You have told your boss that you are on your desk at work but in fact you are away having a drink. Even if you reply to mails using your Blackberry, your signature shows “Sent Using Blackberry” meaning you are not on your desk!

To avoid your boss knowing you are actually working on your BB, follow this process to switch off the “Sent Using Blackberry” from footer:

1. Login to you BIS site for your service carrier. Navigate to the Home screen on your BlackBerry. Click “Messages.”

2. Click edit -> next to the email account on which you wish to remove  the signature.

3.  Where it says “signature”, delete all text

4. Click SAVE.
