Hewlett Packard (HP) just introduced Pavilion Sleekbook Pavilion 14 as the younger brother of Pavilion Sleekbook 15 offers a great balance between build quality, mobility, price and power.
As its name indicates, the HP Pavilion Sleekbook 14 has a screen BrightView LCD 14-inch diagonal, LED backlit display with HD resolution 1366 x 768 pixel HD. This is basic version, since you can opt for a panel with Full HD 1080p resolution.
Besides the screen size, the base hardware is also different from that of the 15.6-inch Sleekbook a motherboard and AMD processor, a manufacturer that HP is using and fairly in all kinds of products, desktop and laptop models professional as ProBook 4545s.
As for RAM HP Pavilion Sleekbook 14 has two slots to support up to 8 Gbytes to 4 Gbytes in the base model. Similarly, mass storage equips SATA hard drives up to 500 GB option 1 Tbyte. To enhance the graphics subsystem in addition to the integrated graphics, optional HP offers a dedicated NVIDIA GeForce GT 630 with 2 GB of DDR3 memory.
Its connectivity is standard in this type of equipment with Ethernet LAN, Wi-Fi n, Bluetooth, memory card reader, and USB 3.0 and 2.0 ports, and HDMI output to external displays. It has an audio system with Altec Lansing speakers with Dolby Advanced Audio and an HP TrueVision webcam.
The HP Pavilion Sleekbook 14 will come with pre-installed Windows 8, and will be available from 26 October after the release of the new operating system from Microsoft. Finished in black and red colors, its base price is $ 499.
