HP Pavilion x360 14t Features

Introduction The HP Pavilion x360 14t is a 14-inch notebook was powered by a Kaby Lake processor. Which was particularly designed with a smaller hinge, this was the thinnest, lightest Pavilion x360 ever. The weight was around 1.6kg & less than 20mm thin.

Case & Connectivity The HP Pavilion x360 14t case was made of plastic, but only the base unit’s top was made up of metal. The display bezel which was black. Build quality will be very decent and rigidity.  The convertible offers very decent selection of three ports. With addition to these 3 USB 3.1 Gen. 1 ports will also offers an HDMI video output & fast SD card reader. The Wi Fi module supports the fast ac standard in addition to 802.11a/b/g/n. It will be performed great under the ideal conditions whenever no Wi Fi devices nearby, short distance between the notebook & Server PC.

Input Devices in the notebook was equipped with a chiclet-style keyboard, the Pavilion 14t’s is having a smooth keys which fairly short travel & very distinct feedback. While typing, on the keyboard you will feel more convenient, because of the decent built of keyboard. A backlight was available, but that can be only turned on or off. In normal lighting conditions, you can turn off the backlight. Otherwise keys will be bit hard to read because of the silver-colored keycaps. The large ClickPad was multi touch with the dimensions of 11.5 x 6 cm (~4.5 x 2.4 in) and which will offer plenty of space for the gestures. It is having the slippery surface which was very pleasant to use & the integrated buttons will also offer short travel. The Pavilion 14t’s touchscreen will supports for 10-point multi-touch. It will react very fast to all the inputs & user won’t face any issues with it.

Display The 14-inch 1920×1080 display features was having a decent contrast ratio of 1200:1. This particular display has showed PWM flickering at very high frequency of 25000 Hz at 50% brightness levels and below. Therefore, even for the sensitive users they will remain safe from the headaches or even from the unusual eye strain when they are using the notebook. You will able to enjoy crystal clear images on Full HD IPS touchscreen with vibrant quality of multiple pixels & 178° wide-viewing angles.

Processor ULV dual-core Core i5-7200U CPU (15 W TDP) will runs at a base clock speed of 2.5 GHz & turbo boosts up to 3.1 GHz on the both cores. Turbo boost will be applied equally, unrelated of the power source.

Speakers The HP Pavilion x360 14t has stereo speakers, which will be located above the keyboard, which are hidden away behind the perforated cover. They were very decent, but only one disadvantage was they lacked bass.

Power Consumption, the HP Pavilion x360 14t device power consumption was idle, the maximum power consumption was at 9.8 W shooting up to 61 W during our stress test.
