No less than five new printers just been recently presented by HP. Three multifunction, the PhotoSmart 5520, 6520 and 7520 eAiO and two models without scanner, DeskJet 2510 and 3520. All are equipped with a USB 2.0 interface for connection to a PC or Mac, and a Wi-Fi interface n. The latter allows printers to connect to a router or wirelessly connect to any computer, tablet or smartphone. Therefore, it is possible to print very easily (wirelessly) that are either at home or on the move from a smartphone or tablet (Android or iOS). Indeed, the Photosmart 5520 eAIO is compatible with HP ePrint technology, Apple AirPrint and Google Cloud Print.
Printing recto / verso series
The HP PhotoSmart 5520 eAiO is the least expensive of these new printers. Dressed all in black, it features a print engine and 4 colors 4 cartridges independent. It also includes a color scanner, 1200 x 2400 dpi print, copy and scan documents. Printing, the manufacturer announced a rate of 11 ppm black and 8 ppm color. These speeds are obtained by printing ISO documents; they should be pretty close to what we will see during the next test.
Moreover, with the memory card reader and a color LCD screen and touch 6.7 cm, printer can be used to print photos when the computer is off. Good point, it is also equipped with a front / back module automatically, to avoid wasting paper.
