Rumors about the development of a second version of the tablet medium format iPad mini 2 are rising and confirming release in the second half of 2013 and a major improvement: the use of a screen with Retina Display technology.

Beyond the management of a smaller device, after release of iPad 4 Retina and iPad mini, user more notices a screen resolution of both so it is tending to criticize the iPad mini when compared with that of its older brother.

That is why sooner or later, Apple will market an iPad mini 2 with Retina display to increase quality and resolution.

The new display panel of iPad mini 2 would be manufactured by LG and AU Optronics, the two companies that produce current mini iPad screens. The resolution would be the same as the iPad 3 2048 x 1536 pixels to ensure application compatibility and recover the sceptre in pixel density.
