Lenovo officially introduced Windows 8 tablet ThinkPad Tablet 2: Specs & Features

Recently, the network leaked specs of first Windows 8 tablet from Lenovo, then known under the code name Thinkpad Tablet 2. As it turned out, it is also the official name of the device, which is a Chinese manufacturer, presented yesterday at a special event in New York, reports The Verge.

According to journalist Chris Zeyglera, ThinkPad Tablet 2 is a 10.1-inch tablet quality built and well in the hand. With a mass of 590 g has a thickness of 9.8 mm, and the battery life – about 10 hours. A very good result, considering that this device is based on the hardware platform x86.

It is known that the new product uses the Intel Atom processor and a display with IPS-matrix, a resolution of 1366×768 pixels and a capacitive touch panel. The base model of ThinkPad Tablet 2 is equipped with only the module Wi-Fi, but there are versions with 3G-and LTE-modem.
