First of all, the unit draws its filling and display. At the heart of the terminal is SoC Snapdragon S4 Pro APQ8064 with four processing units and a frequency of 1.5 GHz. Powerful system-on-chip added 2 GB of RAM, which is at present maximum for any of the smartphone.
As for the display, LG Optimus G is based on a 4.7-inch IPS-matrix with a resolution of 1280×768 pixels, but more importantly, it is the use of “new technology LG, when the capacitive sensor is integrated into the LCD panel.” This is very similar to the technology in-cell, which is rumoured to be used in the next generation iPhone.

By the way, recently published information about the launch of LG mass production of next-generation displays. Perhaps it is for the LG Optimus G. Through the use of original technology screen is thinner to traditional LCD panels, has a reduced frame and contains no air gap between the cover glass and the matrix. This creates the effect of a monolithic front panel when the display is off, the border between the screen and the frame is not visible.
