You may not be familiar with LG’s phablet i.e. Optimus Vu which is one of the active competitor of Galaxy Note and now it has been rumoured LG Optimus Vu II which may be introduced in the near future officially by LG.
A Korean blog has leaked images and specifications of the new high-end smartphone LG Optimus Vu II with its huge five-inch IPS screen protagonist.
The Optimus Vu II would maintain its size closer to ‘phablet’ the resolution ‘modest’ (for what is customary) of 1080 x 768 pixels. But it’s physical memory will be up to 2 Gbytes of RAM expandable to 32 GB micro SD card more and processor is a Qualcomm 8960 with faster 1.5GHz dual core.
Its connectivity is the usual Wi-Fi, GPS, NFC, DLNA and dual chamber 8 and 1.3 megapixels. The second version of Optimus Vu is updated to add Bluetooth 4.0 and Wi-Fi Direct.
As rumoured, Optimus Vu II would be ship with Android 4.0 and subsequent updates to Jelly Bean. We do not have pricing or availability for this ‘phablet’, and with the rumoured specs we don’t think so that this LG phablet would be able to compete with upcoming Galaxy Note II but if LG has powered it with high end specs then situation could be different. So, let’s wait for the official announcement for the LG Optimus Vu II novelty.
