LG’s HX301G LED portable projector costing $699 gives is a bright, sharp image.
Being a LED based projector, lamp replacement should not be an issue besides avoiding the color wheel. Lamp life is 30k hours+. Conventional projector lamps last for around 2000 to 3000 hours and need a replacement after that.
Power consumption is 100 W when running.
There are multiple ports available to connect including HDMI, RGB, Video and Audio. It has the Auto Source Detection feature that polls the inputs and selects the connected source. It has other features like Vertical Digital Keystone Correction, Image Flip (Vertical/Horizontal), Black Level Control and Expert Control.
It has a File Viewer function. This is helpful for you to show PowerPoint presentations as well as PDF and TXT documents directly via the USB connection. Projection image can be 40” @ 1.1m; Throw Ratio – 1.35. This will be good enough for a small room office work.
Other file types supported are MP3, JPEG and HD DivX. Its brightness is 270 Lumens and a native resolution of XGA (1024 x 768).
