Motorola MOTOLUXE Smartphone: Review & Specs

The company Motorola has introduced its smartphone Motorola MOTOLUXE on the market as a great alternative for users of smartphones reaching the basic part of the midrange. We are talking about a smartphone that has a 4-inch screen and a very compact size for this bias. Also, finishing with a touch and gives some feel premium very nice.

Technical Specs of Motorola MOTOLUXE:

The smartphone Motorola MOTOLUXE is featuring processor Snapdragon Qualcomm MSM 7227A 800 MHz with Adreno 200 graphics chip. This processor core is enough for normal tasks. Moreover, 512 Mbytes of RAM and 1GB of ROM (-300 MB free internal memory for installing applications) is mounted in this phone.

This memory of this phone can be expanded via microSD (up to 32GB) and via cloud storage, of course. If we talk about the connectivity of the same, we have to argue that Motorola has equipped Motorola MOTOLUXE with HSDPA 7.2 Mbps / HSUPA 5.76 Mbps, Wi-Fi N, Bluetooth 3.0 with A2DP, FM Radio, A-GPS, Wi-Fi Direct and DLNA. As absent from that list is NFC.

The smartphone mounts an 8-megapixel camera with an LED flash, what at first seems to promise great quality although it notes some gaps in low light or indoors, but for general use is sufficient. However, we made clear that playing in a different league to the backlit sensor cameras such as the iPhone 4S, iPhone 5 or HTC One X.

Video recording is in a worse place with possibilities only recording video WVGA (854 x 480 pixels). The front camera is VGA (640 × 480) and allows you to capture pictures and make videos / video calls.

Motorola MOTOLUXE works on Android, something obvious if you’ve seen the pictures, but what is not clear is the version. Unlike other manufacturers Motorola has not yet made the leap to Android ICS (something strange if we think that Motorola joined the ranks of Google).

The battery that comes with the terminal is hidden under a metal cover and has a capacity of 1400 mAh which stands not for better or for worse. It simply offers the usual range in these smartphones, a day with synchronized by using push email, playing music for 1-2 hours, radio FM-1h-, occasional web browsing, playing awhile and Whatsapp.

The price of the handset Motorola MOTOLUXE is around € 250.

Motorola MOTOLUXE is a very balanced smartphone in the midrange that can serve any user that does not use intensive 3D applications or make excessive use multitasking. The multimedia performance is good and it also integrates with handsfree headphones offer good audio quality.

The camera promises more quality offering and finally the white balance is not very accomplished when using flash, but achieved satisfactory results in most cases. We miss the possibility of video recording 720p, although it stands to reason that the processor and just going with the recording WVGA. This was all about the Motorola MOTOLUXE smartphone.
