Nintendo Wii U final specifications leaked

A few days before the conference by Nintendo “Direct Satoru Shibata”, we get the alleged final specifications of Nintendo Wii U, next console of the Japanese firm should be on the market this Christmas.

Nintendo Wii U

Specifications of Nintendo Wii U are:
• CPU: “Espresso” three cores “Broadway”.
• GPU: “GPU7” AMD Radeon with support for Shader Model 4.0, DirectX 10.1 and OpenGL 3.3.
• Memory: 32MB = Mem1; Mem2 = 1 Gbyte that applications can use.
• Storage: 8 GB expandable via SD cards or USB external hard drives.
• Networking: 802.11 b / g / n Wi-Fi
• Video Output: Support 1080p, 1080i, 720p, 480p and 480i
• Video Cables: HDMI, D-Terminal Wii, component, RGB, S-Video and AV.
• USB: Four USB 2.0 ports

You see, nothing spectacular on paper but Nintendo has not excelled in this regard in the past and another in other virtues, and these components can also be sufficient for the requirements of the games.

Yes surprised at the lack of media library support of DX11 and the triple-core PowerPC processor. The GPU Radeon 7000 generation would still need to know if the specific chip used.

From time rumor phase, we will have to wait for the official confirmation from Nintendo regarding Nintendo Wii U.
