In addition to the PEN E-PL5 and PEN E-PM2, Olympus has announced yet another interesting camera, Olympus Stylus XZ-2. With significantly more compact size, it can provide a very good quality of pictures and videos. In contrast to these decisions standard Micro Four Thirds, the lens of the new items are not replaceable.

Actually, the lens iZUIKO DIGITAL f1.8-2.5 (11 elements in 8 groups) – is one of the most interesting new items. When using EGF 28-112 mm, it provides high image quality even in low light conditions because of wide aperture. Olympus Stylus XZ-2 camera is powered with 12-megapixel BSI-sensor with a 1/1, 7 inches and processor TruePic VI. As for video, it can record 1080p resolution at 30 frames per second. It has compression format – MOV or H.264.

There are built-in flash, a hot shoe, micro-HDMI output slot for SD (SDHC, SDXC, UHS-I) and even 39 MB of internal memory. 3-inch display with a resolution of 920 thousand pixels and a capacitive touch screen has a functional joint. The minimum shutter speed is 1/2000, the maximum – 60. ISO sensitivity range is from 100 to 12,800.

If desired, the user can separately buy a pad in red, beige and purple. Olympus Stylus XZ-2 will arrive in November for $ 600.
