Point of View completes its catalog of tablets with two new devices from 9.7″ to 10″ based on the latest version of Android, codenamed Jelly Bean. Hardware-class, elegant design and competitive price are the keys to the new POV ProtAb 3 and POV ProtAb XXL 10″. The tablets come along next month at a price yet to be confirmed.
The new POV ProtAb 3 will feature a capacitive touch 9.7″, with IPS technology (1024 x 600 pixels). Inside, the combination of Cortex A9 processor at 1.6 GHz (GPU Mali 400) and 1,024 megabytes of RAM ensures smooth operation of Android 4.1 and any application. The manufacturer further emphasizes its chassis, made of aluminium and with only 10 mm. thick.
The POV ProtAb 3 models can be purchased with 8 or 16 Gbytes of memory, we can easily extend amount through the card slot microSD. Among other details worth mentioning the video output HDMI 1.4, the battery of 8000 mAh, connectivity WiFi and Bluetooth or a weight not exceeding 590 g, an interesting figure considering its diagonal.
The top model, POV ProtAb XXL, wide screen until the 10-inch (1,280 x 800 pixels) and is committed to a 16:10 format, best option if our priority is enjoying media contents. It offers two micro USB outputs, HDMI 1.4 but due to space limitations reduce the ability of your battery to 7,200 mAh.
At the moment there are no data on the prices of new POV ProtAb 3 (should be around 300 euros), but we do know it will come to the market during the month of October.
