On the eve of the official release of the new operating system Windows 8 computer makers rush to advertise their own products with this OS. Samsung also reported on the issue of multiple devices with Windows 8.
The new ultrabook Samsung Series 5 Ultra Touch is equipped with 13-inch touch screen with a resolution of 1366×768 pixels and support for multi-touch (up to 10 simultaneous touches). Also available in dual-core processor Intel Core i3 (family of Ivy Bridge), 4 GB of RAM, hard disk capacity of 500 GB and 24 GB solid-state cache ExpressCache. Mass model is about 1.73 kg. Price of ultrabook Samsung Series 5 Ultra Touch in this configuration is set at $ 810. For an extra $ 50 is available to the user to modify the CPU Core i5.
Samsung also announced two tablet running Windows 8: Ativ Smart PC 500T and Ativ Smart PC 700T. Both devices use an 11.6-inch touchscreen display. Base model Ativ Smart PC 500T includes a processor Intel Atom Z2760, 2 GB of RAM and a solid state drive capacity of 64 GB. The price of this configuration is set at $ 750.
