In addition, Seagate has invested a certain sum of money in DensBits, but the value of investments is not confirmed on any of the source.

It is noted that for the new solid state drives will use technology controller DensBits Memory Modem. On this basis solid state derives will be created based on flash chips TLC (3 bits / cell), produced according to the norms 1X-nanometer process, as well as corporate SSDs based on flash chips MLC (2 bits / cell), produced by standards 1X-nanometer process. These drives will combine high performance, low cost and high reliability.

Information on the timing of the start of commercial production of the joint development of solid-state drives from Seagate and DensBits not yet been reported.
