Sony HX950 TV new Flagship: Specs & Features

In the lineup of TVs, Sony added a new flagship device Sony HX950 TV, to replace the previous generation flagship TV model HX929/920.

New product Sony HX950 TV will be available in two models; the difference is the screen diagonal: 55 and 65 inches. The new TV uses lights Intelligent Peak LED. The manufacturer has not said that exactly is this technology, but says that it allows for a more high-quality images than conventional backlight TVs previous generation. Another new feature of the Sony HX950 TV is MotionFlow XR960 (in the U.S. it will appear under the name MotionFlow XR800). It allows you to increase the frame rate of 60 frames per second to 120 frames per second. Separately, that the application of new technology to mount LCD-glass panel was able to significantly reduce glare. In addition, the novelty supports playback of 3D images, enables streaming video via the network access Sony Entertainment Network. More technical specifications of this model are not announced.

It is expected that a new TV Sony HX950 will be available in Japan from November 10. To date, the only known price 65-inch model, which is about £3,200 approx. Information about the timing of the start of sales and price levels for other regions of the device is not reported.
