Sony’s hybrid tablet VAIO Duo 11 with Windows 8 revealed: Specs & Features

After the announcement of Windows 8 running Microsoft Surface hybrid tablet, there comes a revolution in series of Hybrid tablets now, Sony has revealed its Windows 8 VAIO Duo 11 tablet. As the resource PocketNow reported, Sony’s engineers have developed a tablet running the operating system Windows 8. This unit will be called as VAIO Duo 11.

Detailed technical specs are not announced. We only know that the model is a hybrid device with a sliding keyboard and is equipped with 11-inch display. The tablet supports input via stylus. This 11inches Sony VAIO Duo 11 tablet will be powered with Intel Ivy Bridge processor but it has not been officially announced, so nothing can be said about it. As it is going to be hybrid tablet, Sony don’t have another option opting an Intel i Core Ivy Bridge processor and we don’t expect AMD processors in this tablet but for completion with Microsoft Surface, Sony has to do something and it may have opt something new which will be revealed later. Its display resolution is also not yet revealed.

VAIO Duo 11
It is expected that sales of the tablet Sony VAIO Duo 11 will begin after the official release of Windows 8, which is scheduled for the end of October this year. The estimated price of the device is not reported. So, stay tuned for more updates regarding Sony Vaio DUO 11 tablet.
